Rappers owning their own clothing lines was unheard of as recently as the late 1990s, but this was changed when Diddy and Jay-Z launched their lines. Previously, hip hop entrepreneurs such as Daymond John and Russell Simmons launched popular clothing lines. In the time since then, there are several rapper-owned clothing lines.

In the mid-2000s, T.I. made himself into a household name and he began establishing his business interests. Among the businesses T.I. launched was his clothing line, AKOO, which is an acronym for A King OOneself. Due to the team T.I. built around him and the appeal of the line, AKOO has become a household name within itself.

As AKOO prepares to launch its summer line, they recently held a photo shoot. On the scene at this photo shoot was Ride or Die TV. Capturing several photos, Ride or Die TV gave several photos from the shoot to Hip Hop Vibe to present to the world. In these photos, fans can see the fun the people had at the shoot.
