Two of the biggest names in urban music early in 2013 have been Justin Timberlake and Trinidad James. In the case of Justin Timberlake, he returned with his first new single in six years with “Suit & Tie,” featuring Jay-Z. On the other hand, Trinidad James emerged late in 2012 with his breakout single, “All Gold Everything.”
A number of newer stars and newer hits have emerged since the early months of 2013, but the year started off with a bang. Though he has been away from music for some time, Justin Timberlake is well-aware of his surroundings. During his recent performance at “Saturday Night Live,” Justin Timberlake sampled Trinidad James.
Recently, MTV News spoke to Trinidad James about the topic of Justin Timberlake and he is definitely a fan. Watching him on “Saturday Night Live,” Trinidad James said he was flattered to have been sampled by JT. Though no plans have been set in motion, Trinidad James said he wants to collaborate with Timberlake.
