While there is a lot of talent in Atlanta coming out, none of them have impacted the overall game the way Young Scooter has. Last summer, Young Scooter began making noise outside of his hometown. Appearing on tracks alongside Future turned Young Scooter into a mixtape star.

Behind “Colombia,” Young Scooter does have minor mainstream success, but most of his noise comes from the streets. Releasing several mixtapes over the past few years, Young Scooter is now preparing his first album. A street album, it will be released jointly by both the Gucci Mane-led 1017 Brick Squad and his own Black Migo Gang.

On July 2, Young Scooter will release his album, which goes over and beyond. Despite being a street album, it will be star-studded. Wale, Wyclef Jean, and Gucci Mane are among the guests who will be featured on the album. With the summer right around the corner, the official album cover was released by Gucci Mane.
