There were many breakout rappers in 2012, but Chief Keef was the biggest one of them all. No other new rapper in the game can brag about Kanye West remixing their track, yet Chief Keef can. Now, the two are set to begin recording together in Paris, as Kanye is a big fan of his music.
Not even eighteen years old, Chief Keef is a millionaire, as Interscope Records signed him to a $5 million deal. In December, Chief Keef released his Finally Rich album, his debut LP. But, due to his interview at the gun range with The FADER, Chief Keef was forced to go to jail for sixty days.
Since being freed, Chief Keef has to stay away from guns altogether. But, his Instagram was telling a very different story. In spite of what his probation entails, Chief Keef uploaded several photos of himself holding a gun and pointing it at the camera and it is clear what he was doing.
