Producer’s Corner with Yung Ced: Metro Boomin

Metro BoominBy Yung Ced
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

A young dude in charge, Metro Boomin is next up in terms of producers. At only nineteen years old, Metro Boomin was in the center of hip hop’s biggest controversy. It was Metro Boomin who produced Future’s “Karate Chop.” Everybody forgets the song originally featured Casino and Lil Wayne came in for the remix.

Metro Boomin produced the song, but he has much more work that he has done. It might be “Karate Chop” that gained him the most fame, but Metro Boomin has been doing his thing. Two years ago, Metro Boomin produced Alley Boy’s “Four” with Young Jeezy and he has also produced for Waka Flocka Flame, Birdman, Gucci Mane, and Fabolous.

Others who Metro Boomin produced for include Young Scooter and Yo Gotti. But, the biggest is coming up for Metro Boomin. Everybody in Atlanta is talking about that upcoming Ludacris/Young Jeezy track, “Raised in the South.” Guess what though? It is none other than Metro Boomin producing that too. He also produced for OJ Da Juiceman and many other well-known names.
