Some people cannot catch a break and Jojo Simmons is among them. Born into hip hop’s royal family, the Simmons family, Jojo Simmons had a tough act to follow. Best-known as the son of Rev Run, Jojo Simmons grew up rich and the world had a chance to watch his high school years on MTV’s “Run’s House.”
Jojo Simmons launching his rap career coincided with a series of unfortunate events that led to media scrutiny. Insult was added to injury when Diggy Simmons’ career in hip hop exploded and Angela Simmons came out to defend her brother several times. But, the biggest insult came for Jojo Simmons when Juelz Santana used him for a punchline.
Recently, a photo surfaced of Jojo Simmons being confronted in Queens. A Skull Gang member boasted of confronting Jojo. CraVe Tv6 recently had an opportunity to talk with Jojo Simmons and he offered a response to this. Born in money and working with Wyclef, among other big names, Jojo has bigger things to worry about.
