Once again, J. Cole has the rap game’s full attention. There are a lot of rappers coming back and making their presence felt this year. As it was in 2011, there is J. Cole and Drake fighting for position, once again. J. Cole released “Power Trip” with Miguel, earlier this year, and has arguably the best song of 2013 out.
J. Cole has received quite a bit of praise over the “Power Trip” single. The song has been met with acclaim, but there is much more in the works for him. But, the focus has been on J. Cole’s first single this week. This especially was the case when J. Cole released the “Power Trip” music video earlier this week.
Recently, J. Cole sat down with MTV News and he talked about the music video. Thus far, it is the hottest music video released this week. In his interview, J. Cole talked about the music video and him and Miguel working together for it. J. Cole said he did not expect he and Miguel to murder it the way they did.
