While Jay-Z is done with the Nets, after ten years and the relocation to Brooklyn, there is another tradition of his set to continue. In 2011, Jay-Z released Watch the Throne with Kanye West and the album included the “Made in America” single. Last summer, Jay-Z made plans to hold a “Made in America” Festival and had the biggest names in hip hop perform.

Returning to the festival, which will last from August 31-September 1, is Kendrick Lamar and the rest of the TDE movement, including ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. Once again, Philadelphia will be the home of the event and the event will not be limited to hip hop. Beyonce and Nine Inch Nails will headline the 2013 “Made in America” Festival.

The 2013 “Made in America” Festival will be held at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and will feature seventeen acts performing. Other notable performers are A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Jay Rock, and Macklemore. Tickets go on sale for the “Made in America” Festival on April 17.
