At the end of 2012, Lil Wayne originally was supposed to release his tenth studio album, I Am Not a Human Being 2. The album was delayed several times in 2012 and eventually was delayed into 2013. But, when it came to getting released in 2013, Lil Wayne was prompt in getting the album.
Finally getting Future on the track, Lil Wayne and Drake reunited for a track they called “Good Kush and Alcohol.” Once the song was re-released and hit radio, Lil Wayne had retitled the track, “Love Me.” Since then, Lil Wayne has a massive hit on his hands and the song continues to get bigger.
“Love Me” continues to grow and become more successful. There is no denying the hit status of “Love Me.” Now, Lil Wayne, Future, and Drake have a major hit on their hands and another platinum plaque between the trio. As of last night, Lil Wayne has gone platinum with “Love Me.”
