A few years ago, DJ Clue was one of the most high-profile DJs in the game. Back when what is currently known as MTV’s “Week in Jams” was “Direct Effect,” DJ Clue was the host, along with LaLa. During this period of time, DJ Clue juggled his work with Jay-Z and his duties with MTV.
In the years since then, DJ Clue has returned to the background and still has a major impact on the game. Desert Storm Radio is highly popular and broadcasts every night on the popular Power 105.1. There is a new breed of DJs making the headlines, but DJ Clue got them back when he was arrested for driving with a suspended license and drugs.
Earlier today, DJ Clue was released from police custody and his team has issued an official statement regarding the matter. Released on bail, DJ Clue is maintaining his innocence and denying the claims. A lawsuit is being filed by the popular DJ and media personality because of him being wrongly accused and arrested.
