Without a doubt, Big Boy has to feel good now that the West Coast is back and dominating the game. Working for Power 106, until a couple years ago, Big Boy found himself interviewing rappers who were not from Los Angeles. This changed with debuts from many West Coast artists and Game’s comeback.

Now, Los Angeles boasts Kid Ink, Kendrick Lamar, Tyga, Casey Veggies, Dom Kennedy, and many other rising stars. Everyone has been commenting on the West Coast hip hop scene’s comeback. YG is currently all over the radio due to Young Jeezy’s “R.I.P. (remix)” gaining more radio play.

Big Boy recently had the opportunity to reverse the roles. Vlad TV sat him down for an interview. During the interview, Big Boy talked about his take on the current state of the hip hop scene on the West Coast. He said he felt the West Coast hip hop scene needed to regroup to birth these new stars.
