Officially ten albums deep, Lil Wayne has had a strong impact on the rap game for some time. The past six years have been great for Lil Wayne, but recently he has been facing a backlash over the past year. Lil Wayne dominated the media over his health issues and he finally addressed his ongoing health issues.

When it came to the music, Lil Wayne found himself ready to release his long-awaited album, I Am Not a Human Being 2. Lil Wayne introduced the album last summer with his single, “My Homies Still,” with Big Sean. The album yielded two more singles since then and other popular tracks.

“Rich as Fuck” with 2 Chainz is a standout song on the album, as is the “Love Me” single with Future and Drake. Lil Wayne turned to Maybach Music’s Gunplay for a reason on his “Beat the Shit” track. Meanwhile, the forgettable tracks include the “No Worries” single and “Romance.”

Lil Wayne continued with his collaboration-heavy songs, including other appearances from Soulja Boy and Juicy J. I Am Not a Human Being 2 is indeed an entertaining album and it comes just in time for the spring season. Despite the dip in projected sales from Lil Wayne’s previous album, the project is among the best albums to come out, thus far, this year.
