Though it was highly implied, there never was any real beef, in terms of music, when it came to Jay-Z and R. Kelly. But, until Chris Brown and Drake, that is the closest hip hop has ever come to a beef between rap and R&B. Leave it to Rihanna to change all of that with her relationships with both men.
Chris Brown started his career off as a singer, but has morphed into a hybrid artist, since he does just as much singing as rapping. This new found platform for Chris Brown has birthed more hits and has propelled his feud with Drake. Initially friendly, the two have been going at it since their New York City fight.
Continuing his media run, Chris Brown stopped by Sway Calloway’s Shade 45 show, “Sway in the Morning.” Chris Brown has already made headlines for his ongoing feud with Drake, dissing him on Young Jeezy’s “R.I.P.” remix. Showing out alongside Kendrick Lamar and YG, Chris Brown explained himself during his interview with Sway.
