Did Trinidad James break the one hit wonder curse with “Females Welcomed?”

Sure, a lot of people have not had too much positive to say about Trinidad James, but he is a breakout star. Few artists have ever risen as quickly as Trinidad James, who has taken the game over and did so in only a few short months. When he actually began his career has been up for debate, but he is here now.

Trinidad James took the game over starting with “All Gold Everything.” The song did well enough to land Trinidad James a $5 million deal with Def Jam. Keeping his momentum going, Trinidad James did the official remix with T.I., Young Jeezy, and 2 Chainz, which is doing well.

Going back to his Don’t Be S.A.F.E. mixtape, Trinidad James decided to package another single to be released. Behind “All Gold Everything,” “Females Welcomed” did fairly well and Trinidad James released the music video this past week. Now, “Females Welcomed” is set to hit radio and has a summer feel to it.

Despite the way many feel about Trinidad James, it seems as if “Females Welcomed” is capturing the audience “All Gold Everything” may have missed. Those who disliked “All Gold Everything” would love to write Trinidad James off as a one hit wonder, but by the look and feel of “Females Welcomed,” there may be more he has to offer. Though “Females Welcomed” is still fairly new, it does appear to be the next hit single, but is it too soon to say “Females Welcomed” is Trinidad James’ second hit?
