One of the most-interesting artists on the West Coast is Casey Veggies. Once the hip hop world tuned back into the West Coast hip hop scene, specifically Los Angeles, critics were in for a pleasant surprise. The birthplace of gangsta rap has become a safe haven for those who crave “real” hip hop.
Casey Veggies is a rising star from the area and his Life Changes album has done well in the two months it has been out. With his profile rising, Casey Veggies recently reached a deal with RCA Records, following Kid Ink to the label. The future definitely continues to look bright for the star.
Recently, Casey Veggies talked to Shade 45’s Sway Calloway on “Sway in the Morning.” In the latest part of his interview, Casey Veggies talked about battle rapping. Casey Veggies opened up about losing in a battle he once participated in. Though he lost the battle, it appears as if he is faring better in the war.
