Last year, Charlamagne Tha God became a joke on the internet when he ran away from a fight. Known to take it as well as he dishes it, Charlamagne Tha God turned the situation into a joke. When Game stopped by Power 105.1, he brought up Charlamagne Tha God running and compared it to how he made 40 Glocc run.
Saying it without saying it, Charlamagne Tha God expressed Funkmaster Flex having something to do with the situation. Hot 97 and Power 105.1 have been feuding since before Jay-Z and Nas began feuding and the stations used the feud to get at each other. It has been a feud re-ignited since last summer.
Charlamagne Tha God recently spoke to Vlad TV about him being jumped and his ongoing issues with Funkmaster Flex. Saying he receives everything he deserves, Charlamagne Tha God spoke on it having to be a response from Funkmaster Flex. Due to his role with MTV, Charlamagne Tha God said he would run again.
