It appears as if the grip Lil Wayne has had on the rap game is finally beginning to loosen and the baton looks as if it is headed Future’s way. Every dog has its day, but Lil Wayne is far from done with the spotlight. Due to his health scare, Lil Wayne has been in the headlines more than usual.
Once the smoke cleared, the focus was on I Am Not a Human Being 2. Yesterday the album was released and there are high expectations for the album. However, Mack Maine is likely wrong about his projections. Initially, Mack Maine said he felt this album would fare better than Tha Carter IV.
The official projections for the album are in and Lil Wayne’s numbers are significantly lower than they were the last go round. I Am Not a Human Being 2 is projected to move between 190 and 210,000 copies in its first week. Previously, Lil Wayne shipped close to one million units his first week.
