Havoc releases “13” album cover

Where Mobb Deep is concerned, there are plenty of question marks. The duo has continuously gone downhill since 2005 when they signed with G-Unit Records. Dropping one album under the label, Mobb Deep was dropped by Interscope Records late in the summer of 2009.

Mobb Deep has remained a presence in hip hop, but has not dropped any new music since 2006. But, it was last spring when things fell apart and Havoc dissed Prodigy, calling him secretly gay and wanting to be Jay-Z, on Twitter. An official hiatus began, but the two were back together before New Year’s.

Since Havoc and Prodigy have reunited, the two are going forward with their plans to drop solo albums. Havoc is set to drop his 13 album in May and is facing off directly against LL Cool J. The single, “Gone,” has already been released along with the music video.
