A lot of attention has gone to Los Angeles’ “New West” hip hop scene simply because they stole the show and have been since 2011. However, the “New West” is not limited to simply Los Angeles. There are many other areas, including Fresno, that are contributing to the “New West.”
Problem is from Los Angeles and he is becoming a force in the game. Coming into 2013, he teamed up with Iamsu!. The two came together for their Million Dollar Afro, which has been considered a mixtape classic. There is a lot of love for Problem and Iamsu!, even after both have gone back solo.
Reuniting in Austin, Texas for SXSW 2013, Problem and Iamsu! have decided to give other cities a dose of their talent in the form of the Million Dollar Afro tour. Problem and Iamsu! are launching the Million Dollar Afro tour and are starting on April 12 in Portland, Oregon. The Million Dollar Afro tour will be hitting many other cities over the course of the spring.
