Time has flown by rapidly and it is evidenced by the current landscape of the hip hop world. Through the internet, everyone has been able to receive their shine, but there is a major portion of the fan base who wants to bring the 1990s back. Joey Bada$$ is a young rapper determined to bring the 1990s back.
Naughty by Nature initially gained their fame in the 1990s and, obviously, have faded from the spotlight in the years since. Hip hop has taken many twists and turns and it has since led to things coming full circle. With the hip hop game going full circle, it does look as if the 1990s are definitely on their way back.
Much like the Wu-Tang Clan, the New Jersey-bred Naughty by Nature are also celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their breakout album. Closing in on the twentieth anniversary of 19 Naughty III, which is their sophomore album. Minus Treach, Naughty by Nature stopped by Shade 45 to talk to Sway Calloway for “Sway in the Morning” about their twentieth anniversary.
