Exotic Cars Loved by Hip Hop: Honorable Mentions

Hip hop is so much more than the music, there is an entire lifestyle that comes with the hip hop world. There are many hip hop lovers who associate “real” hip hop to the street life, but are hip hop superstars not allowed to enjoy the fruits of their labor? Over this past weekend, Hip Hop Vibe decided to indulge the commercial aspects of the game.

Lamborghini, Maserati, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bugatti, and Maybach are the brands spotlighted this weekend. All of the biggest names in the game, including Jay-Z, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Tyga, 50 Cent, Drake, Ja Rule, Kanye West, and many others own those brands. However, there are many more cars out there loved by hip hop.

Brands that deserve a mention and a nod include the originators, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Other exotic brands that deserve mentions include Porsche, Lotus, and Bentley, all of which have found themselves favored by the Kardashians, Game, and many other major hip hop and entertainment names. Hip Hop Vibe decided to share a portion of this spotlight to these brands, as they helped introduce the hip hop world to what is known as the “good life.”

Mercedes-Benz

As the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL500 debuts, hip hop fans look back to their first looks at the Benz courtesy of The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z.

BMW
Here is a photo of the 2013 BMW. The last time the BMW received any major hip hop press was when Lloyd Banks featured Juelz Santana on his “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley” hit single. In the time since then, there has not been much more hip hop coverage of the Beamer, with the exception of their continuous appearances in music videos.

Porsche
Of course, Porsche is a longtime hip hop favorite, but has been replaced in terms of favorites, by many of the other vehicles mentioned. However, rappers continue to love their Porsches and Game is among the proud owners of the Porsche.

Bentley
It goes without saying the impact the Bentley has had on hip hop. Long before she was involved with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian was rolling in Bentleys and causing uproars over it. Almost every rapper in the game, who is successful, own a Bentley, but it remains exclusive and exotic and deserves a mention. Take a look, above, at the 2013 Bentley.
