Rick Ross carried semi-automatic Smith & Wesson gun during January shooting

Rick Ross 2More often than any other rapper, Rick Ross’ gangster always comes up for question in hip hop debates. Since 2009, Rick Ross has been going back in the forth in the media with “Freeway” Ricky Ross. A well-known gangster in the 1990s from California, Ross feels the Miami rapper is profiting off his life.

Known for his ties with the Gangsters’ Disciples, many felt “Freeway” Ricky Ross was behind the threats from the gang toward Rick Ross. While he said he was unfazed by the threats, Rick Ross cancelled his tour. Later, Rick Ross revealed the tour was cancelled because the business was not right.

In January, Rick Ross wound up in a life-threatening situation, when he was shot at while driving in Miami. Rick Ross’ Rolls Royce, fortunately, did not get damaged terribly in the accident. Now, according to the official police report, Rick Ross was holding throughout the ordeal, with a semi-automatic Smith & Wesson.
