Havoc and Prodigy have come a long way over the past year. Back in March of 2012, the New York Knicks went on a winning streak led by Jeremy Lin and they began calling their bench “Mobb Deep” during this time. Mobb Deep commented on this and made headlines, but soon were involved in a Twitter beef they both denied.

In an attempt to end the rumors of tension, Havoc and Prodigy attended a Knicks’ game, but this was not enough. Days after the game, Havoc admitted to calling Prodigy out and said their partnership was over. The two went their separate ways and the world began moving on from Mobb Deep right before they announced a reunion.

Mobb Deep is now focused on Realm Reality, their primary artist. Now, after a seven year hiatus, the duo has a joint album planned. Coming first, however, will be individual solo albums. The two recently sat down with MTV News and they explained their situation.
