When the world last heard from Dr. Dre, he was putting the final touches on Detox following the success of “I Need a Doctor” and shifting his focus to Kendrick Lamar. A lot has changed since Dr. Dre dropped his single with Eminem and Skylar Grey. No one’s pet project, Kendrick Lamar is the hottest rapper in the game.
There are many reasons for Dr. Dre to boast, though he remains rather silent when it comes to speaking to the media. Over the span of three decades, Dr. Dre has built memorable careers for Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Eminem, 50 Cent, Game, and now Kendrick Lamar. Now, the wait is only on Detox.
Recently, Dr. Dre called into Power 106’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood. During the interview, Dr. Dre spoke on his Beats movement and also Eminem. Currently, Eminem is working on his new album and during the interview, Dr. Dre revealed he was close to wrapping the album up.
