Except for a brief period of time in 2010 when he was known as Mike Bigga, Killer Mike has remained consistent and has not changed for anyone. Upon entering the game, many felt as if Killer Mike’s name, along with his content, held him back. Once he signed with powerhouse, Grand Hustle Records, he made the change.

But, for his R.A.P. Music album, released on Williams Street, Killer Mike returned to his roots and he has continued working. Though he is a longtime veteran in the game and worthy of legendary status, Killer Mike flies under the radar. But, he is well-known and respected in the industry.

Recently, Killer Mike visited New York City and checked in with Power 105.1’s trio at “The Breakfast Club.” Killer Mike detailed his ongoing moves, which included a meeting with Jay-Z and Diddy. During the interview, Killer Mike also talked about Future and 2 Chainz, along with MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game.”
