Oddly enough, moments after Too $hort was featured in DJ YRS Jerzy’s Wednesday Throwback, news broke of the Bay Area legend picking up a DUI charge. In the headlines throughout the day, it appeared as if Too $hort resisted arrest. There was much more to the story.
Going into the afternoon, there was not much discussion about Too $hort and his legal situation. However, things clearly looked bad for the Oakland rapper. After attempting to run away from law enforcement before falling to the ground and failing the breathalyzer test, Too $hort appeared to be headed to prison.
Too $hort did spend the day behind bars in Los Angeles, but he was released this evening. When Too $hort was released, TMZ was right there and they managed to get a couple of words out of the rapper. TMZ asked Too $hort about the DUI and he revealed to them he did not have one.
