A lot of chatter has surrounded Lil Wayne and it comes at the right time, with his new album due next week. However, the talk is finally not about Lil Wayne’s music or the content of the music. Instead, Lil Wayne’s health is the major issue because of his seizures.
Reports have had Lil Wayne on his deathbed. Several media outlets picked up the story of Lil Wayne being comatose at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Both Mack Maine and Lil Wayne came out and spoke on that. T.I. even called TMZ out for the false report, but later reports said Lil Wayne is indeed in the hospital and still suffering.
Now, Birdman has set the record straight, speaking with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez. Birdman confirmed that Lil Wayne has been in the hospital since last Tuesday and the seizure came from working too much. Initially, Birdman told Angie Martinez he will be released on Tuesday, but he was released today.
