Three decades ago, hip hop first went mainstream when Run-DMC rose to the forefront of the game. Years later, Run-DMC’s impact went much deeper than just music. Managed by the younger brother of Run, Russell Simmons, their success prompted him to launch his label, Def Jam.
In the years since then, Run-DMC ‘s success has opened doors for many of the other major rappers of today. Still, years after their run, Run-DMC continue to have a devoted fan base. Years after their original success, Run-DMC is one of the most-requested hip hop groups.
The two are going to be back at it, once again, when Run-DMC hits Atlantic City. Hip hop’s legendary duo will be rocking the mic at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. Fans of Run-DMC in the area will be treated to their long list of hits.
