Probably one of the reasons Kanye West did not appear higher on MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game” was because he has not put out an album of his own since 2010. Kanye West has remained a strong presence in hip hop because of his other albums, however. In 2011, he teamed up with Jay-Z for Watch the Throne and did Cruel Summer in 2012 with his team.
While Kanye West’s last two albums have been great, they have not been complete albums from him. Showing he is a strong team player, Kanye West has probably sensed the agitation from his fans and is delivering. Recently, Kanye West has been working with Rsonist of The Heatmakerz.
Currently Rsonist is promoting his mixtape with Fred the Godson, Contraband. However, when he stopped by MTV, he also talked about his work with Kanye West. There have been rumblings of an album called Rich Black American coming soon from West. Rsonist revealed no title, but confirmed a new Kanye West album.
