At the least, the relationship between Mannie Fresh and Cash Money Records is strained and there is little to no chance of a reunion. Cash Money hit rock bottom when Mannie Fresh left the label. Birdman expressed bitterness toward his former producer, whose future looked bright.
However, Birdman ended up having the upper hand when Cash Money Records re-expanded and took the game over. Meanwhile, Mannie Fresh’s company has not had much success. Birdman signed Mystikal to Cash Money Records and expressed his dislike for Mannie Fresh.
This has not stopped the discussions of a Hot Boyz reunion, however. Turk, Juvenile, and B.G. are no longer signed to the label. However, Turk had all of these emcees on his mixtape, Blame It on the System. Recently, Vlad TV talked to Mannie Fresh about the potential of a Hot Boyz reunion and he mentioned both the possibilities and the problems surrounding that.
