One year ago, Juicy J surprised the rap game when his “Bands a Make Her Dance” single became a breakout hit. A few months prior, Juicy J signed to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang and was working on new music. But, Juicy J’s mixtape single ended up going viral and the remixes began.
Lil Wayne immediately jumped on the track and 2 Chainz followed suit. “Bands a Make Her Dance” went on to become one of 2012’s biggest hits. Though Juicy J already was an established artist, he introduced himself to a new fan base through this breakout hit single.
Recently, Juicy J was in New York City and he stopped by Power 105.1 to have a conversation with “The Breakfast Club.” With “Bands a Make Her Dance” being a breakout hit single for Juicy J, it was the perfect launch for his next album. Juicy J talked about Stay Trippy and also the highly-discussed and argued MTV list, “Hottest MCs in the Game.”
