Bad Azz Entertainment came under much scrutiny last spring. There were a lot of things going on in Lil’ Boosie’s camp. Since 2009, Lil’ Boosie had been in prison over murder and drug charges. With the murder charges dropped, Lil’ Boosie only had to complete his sentence for other charges.
Before being sent to prison, Lil’ Boosie’s career had reached new heights. In the time since then, Baton Rouge’s hip hop scene has been a bit stagnant. Not to worry, however, the Bad Azz leader is returning to the scene soon. Lil’ Boosie used his time behind bars to focus on his education.
Forced to take time out of the game, Lil’ Boosie decided to finish what he started, meaning his high school education. In the past few years, Lil’ Boosie has been behind bars and hitting the books. Today, Lil’ Boosie and his family had reason to celebrate when he earned his GED from Angola State prison.
