50 Cent talks “Street King Immortal,” changes in hip hop, and hipster rappers with Hypetrak [VIDEO]

Clearly 50 Cent is not the man he was ten years ago. At the time, 50 Cent was a new artist with new money. Instead of squandering his money or venturing into acting, 50 Cent showed off his business acumen. Much credit goes to Jay-Z for his business ventures, but the ventures 50 Cent own appear more diversified.

Learning from the best, the late Chris Lighty, 50 Cent has a wide range of businesses and business partners. Purchasing stock in H&H Imports, 50 Cent launched his SMS company, which has become highly profitable. However, 50 Cent has many other businesses, including one with Erin Andrews.

But, when 50 Cent talked to Hypetrak, the discussion was about Street King Immortal, his first album in four years. 50 Cent also talked about the biggest difference in hip hop in 2013, as opposed to 2003 when he debuted. Closing the interview, 50 Cent broke down his take on the hipster rappers in the game.
