Reinvention is the name of the game if longevity in hip hop is the ultimate goal. Twenty years have passed since Snoop Dogg first emerged on the scene. In these twenty years, the world was witnessed Snoop Dogg transform from a controversial gangsta rapper to one of America’s favorite dads.

Possessing a unique sense of humor, Snoop Dogg has carried his personality with him everywhere he goes. Ultimately, it is his personality that helped Snoop Dogg get as far as he has. Inspired by Bob Marley, Snoop Dogg changed his name to Snoop Lion and is working on his debut album, Reincarnated.

“No Guns Allowed,” featuring Drake, is the album’s first single, a far cry from Snoop Dogg’s early days with Death Row Records. Speaking of Death Row Records, Snoop Dogg recently leaked photos of him hanging out with Suge Knight in Los Angeles. With Skee TV, Snoop Dogg talked about both the Drake-assisted “No Guns Allowed” and ending his beef with Suge Knight.
