Since his 2012 health scare, Nick Cannon has maintained a relatively low profile. Cutting back on his workload, Nick Cannon is now primarily seen when he is offering commentary on the feud between wife, Mariah Carey, and Nicki Minaj. But, Nick Cannon does intend on getting back to work in one of his many fields.
In addition to his TEENick segments on Nickelodeon, Nick Cannon probably was best-known for his acting. Breaking out from his “child star” image, Nick Cannon starred opposite Christina Milian in Love Don’t Cost a Thing. Established as a “grown-up” star, Nick Cannon has not looked back since then.
A longtime admirer of Freeway Ricky Ross, Nick Cannon is playing a role he has wanted to play since 1996. Starring in Nick Cassavetes’ upcoming film, Nick Cannon will be playing the role of Freeway Ricky Ross. The redeemed drug lord has given Nick Cannon his full blessing to portray him, even taking in a night with him hanging out.
