Last spring, Rick Ross held a press conference and announced all of the upcoming release dates for Maybach Music. When Wale joined the label in 2011, he said he would release his sophomore album in 2011, with his third coming in 2012. Rick Ross made it very clear that 2012 would focus more on Meek Mill and Wale would return in 2013.
When 2013 started, Wale got off to a quick start. The media was sent into a frenzy when footage of Wale, Jerry Seinfeld, and his DJ, DJ Omega surfaced. Inspired by “Seinfeld,” the sitcom, Wale previously released The Mixtape About Nothing. Taking the game by storm in 2011, Wale is now working on The Album About Nothing.
Recently, Wale appeared in Philadelphia and he talked to MinaSayWhat for Power 99 and mentioned his upcoming projects. With 2013 scheduled to be Wale’s next breakout year, he talked about his next album. Of course, Wale also talked about the joint album he had with Jerry Seinfeld.
