Behind the scenes, there has been a lot of talking about doing something similar to this. Now, 2013 is headed into the third month and there is a lot of work going on, so the timing felt right. There are a lot of stars being born every day and this has led to a lot of older stars being forgotten, every Wednesday, the spotlight is coming back to them.
Every Wednesday, Hip Hop Vibe and (myself) DJ YRS Jerzy will reflect back on some of the stars of yesteryear with DJ YRS Jerzy’s Wednesday Throwback. Back in the 1990s, hip hop had a major explosion of stars and one of the biggest ones was Craig Mack. In 1994, Craig Mack burst onto the scene with his breakout single, “Flava In Ya Ear.”
Craig Mack experienced much success with his “Flava In Ya Ear” single. “Flava In Ya Ear” was a major breakout single and helped put Bad Boy Records on the map. After the success of the first single, Craig Mack did a remix with The Notorious B.I.G., Rampage, LL Cool J, and Busta Rhymes.
