Since the early days of Bow Wow, the hip hop world has loved child rappers. After the emergence of Bow Wow, Romeo Miller burst onto the scene. Several other child rappers have emerged, but none have had the commercial success of Bow Wow and Romeo. In recent years, Lil Mouse and Lil Poopy have had success.
Lil Poopy recently gained internet fame when he appeared in a music video where a woman was shaking her booty in his face. In addition to doing this video, Lil Poopy has been closely working with the Coke Boys. While French Montana has been hard at work on his debut album, the Coke Boys have taken over the mixtape front.
With Lil Poopy’s music video gaining attention, he recently found himself under investigation by Massachusetts child welfare. CNN recently covered the story and they said the child welfare services were notified by a “concerned citizen.” Luis Rivera, the father of Lil Poopy, said his son is doing nothing wrong.
