For years, Ace Hood has played the role of a background player. Coming from the hottest movement in hip hop over the past five years, Ace Hood has been written off by most critics. Even after his strong comeback in 2011, there are still many who doubt the young rapper.
Birdman is one person who believes in Ace Hood and he is interested in turning him into the next star on Cash Money Records. As it currently stands, Ace Hood is the flagship artist on We the Best Music Group, a subsidiary of Cash Money Records. Ace Hood plans to release his YMCMB debut this summer.
With two songs doing well on the radio, Ace Hood has a street anthem that is preparing to impact the mainstream. In the meantime, Ace Hood and Meek Mill have their new single, “It’s Going Down.” Earlier this week, the music video released to the internet and is Hip Hop Vibe’s new Video of the Week.
