Early 2013 has been fantastic for the “New West” movement in Los Angeles. Of course, the entire rap game stopped to watch while Kendrick Lamar made his way to the top of the game. Meanwhile, Kid Ink started 2013 off properly, announcing he signed a solo deal with RCA Records.
Soon, Kid Ink was followed by Casey Veggies to a deal with RCA Records. Recently, the rising rapper began working on his official debut album. Kid Ink released a street album last year, but is now delivering his major label debut. The last release from Kid Ink was his Rocketship Shawty mixtape.
“Bad Ass,” featuring Meek Mill and Wale of Maybach Music, was originally released on this mixtape. However, Kid Ink has since decided to release “Bad Ass” as the first single off his debut album. Alex Nazari is bringing the song to life with the music video that recently Kid Ink leaked photos from.
