“Bands a Make Her Dance” changed the way people thought of Juicy J. Three years prior, the famous Memphis rapper decided to focus more on his solo career. Juicy J had released several mixtapes that were picking up momentum. Wiz Khalifa saw Juicy J’s work and decided to add him to the Taylor Gang roster.
Within a year, “Bands a Make Her Dance” came and countless rappers added verses to the song. Juicy J felt this was the right single to launch his third solo album, Stay Trippy, which is due later this year. Several similar songs from Juicy J have been released and failed to have the same impact.
Now, Juicy J is preparing the official follow-up single. “One of Those Nights” is the name of the next single off Juicy J’s album. With The Weeknd being from Toronto, many expected more songs with him and Drake. Instead, The Weeknd has fallen in right with the Taylor Gang movement, providing vocals on “One of Those Nights.”
