Birdman is to hip hop what Pat Riley is to the NBA. When the Miami Heat needed to retool, Pat Riley went over and beyond, getting one of the best power forwards in Chris Bosh and one of the best small forwards in LeBron James. The team already had one of the best shooting guards in Dwyane Wade and within two years had an NBA championship. A similar philosophy has been applied at Cash Money Records with Birdman adding as many artists, and labels, as possible. Right now, Birdman is enjoying the success of We the Best Music Group, as Ace Hood is finding success and the label just added Vado. Celebrating during the NBA’s annual All-Star break, Birdman released his latest mixtape, Rich Gang Allstars, featuring his whole crew doing what they do best. Birdman had to feature Ace Hood on the project, doing a song with him called “Da Streets.”
