YG talks confronting Twitter detractor with Vlad TV [VIDEO]

Most rappers in the “New West” hip hop scene of Los Angeles find themselves working with artists in the South. Born and raised in Compton, the home of NWA, Game, and fellow “New West” artist, Kendrick Lamar, YG appears to be next up. After releasing his mixtape, Just Re’d Up 2, YG has his debut album in the works.

Coming from Compton, YG continues the “gangsta” trend. While he is often online, using social networking to keep up with fans, YG is not above confronting people. This ended up happening with YG and one of his Twitter followers. Being baited by a follower, YG told him to say it to his face.

As YG explained to Vlad TV, he went to a mall to do an indoor signing and the meet with the fans. Leaving the signing, YG took a picture with a fan and left, thinking nothing more of the situation. However, YG said the fan ended up being the person from Twitter and said he chose to let it go in the end.
