Last month, DJ Symphony gave independent hip hop artists from all over the world a major opportunity with his Independent Invasion, Vol. 1 mixtape. Ghostface Killah, of Wu-Tang Clan, hosted the mixtape and the mixtape was played on DJ Symphony’s Radio Invasion. Overall, the mixtape was a major success.
Wu-Tang Clan is going strong and there are new projects in the works from Raekwon, RZA, Ghostface, and Method Man. A member of the Wu-Tang DJs, DJ Symphony’s projects add to the long list of projects coming out from the Clan. Last year, Wu-Tang had a relatively low profile, but in 2013, the entire crew is going all out.
Following the success of Independent Invasion, Vol. 1, DJ Symphony decided to return with the sequel faster than expected. Once again, DJ Symphony and Ghostface Killah will be tag-teaming the mixtape and artists again have their chance to get on the mixtape. The tentative release date for the upcoming project is March 31, 2013.
