Kanye West’s next album is described as tribute to black music

Yes, his name is all over the headlines and more than usual, but Kanye West has been playing the role of supporting character, as opposed to the star he is. It looks as if Kanye West is the heir to Jay-Z’s throne. Since 2010, Kanye West has managed to put out some form of new album every year.

Last year, Kanye West released Cruel Summer with G.O.O.D. Music. While Kanye West was the main draw on the album, Big Sean and Pusha T stole the show. Meanwhile, Kanye West focused on his relationship with Kim Kardashian. As that relationship has grown to include a child on the way, Kanye West is not even the star of this show.

However, this will all soon change, as Malik Yusef announced Kanye West’s next album. In a recent interview, Malik Yusef said this album will be a tribute to black music. The album will be another genre-bending body of work, but will not include as much singing as Kanye West’s fourth album, 808s & Heartbreak.
