Seeing how he typically delivers over five mixtapes, one album, and a street album every year, Gucci Mane was relatively silent for most of 2012. The final Gucci Mane release of 2012 was his Trap God mixtape, which he released on October 17 (1017). Days after releasing the mixtape, Gucci Mane took shots at Yo Gotti, French Montana, and Nicki Minaj, among others.

Recently, Gucci Mane revealed he was working on Trap God 2. During a recent interview, the popular rapper talked about his role in Spring Breakers. Co-starring with James Franco, he said he may title his Trap God 2 mixtape after the film. Gucci Mane initially had plans for launching Trap God 2: Spring Break Edition.

Earlier today, Gucci Mane released the official artwork for Trap God 2. According to the cover, and the release date, there will be no Spring Break Edition, yet. Gucci Mane revealed the mixtape would be released on February 12. Maybach Music’s DJ Scream will serve as the host of the mixtape.
