In 2011, Stalley’s stock rose in a significant way when Rick Ross signed him to Maybach Music. The deal came on the heels of DJ Scream signing with the label. A native of Ohio, Stalley is among the first few artists from that area to land mainstream record deals. Reaction to Stalley was warm, as he brought a different element to Maybach Music.
Stalley is going on two years since he first signed with Maybach Music. While his album has yet to come, there have been plenty mixtape releases. Later this year, Stalley does indeed plan to release his debut album. But, in the meantime, Stalley will be performing at venues around the United States and releasing individual songs.
During a recent trip to Philadelphia, Stalley spoke to Respect My Hustle. Stalley was in town for a performance, rocking the crowd. After the performance, Stalley talked about several things, among them was his love for the city of Philadelphia. As much as possible, the MMG artist tries to sneak away to the City of Brotherly Love.
