Six months ago, it looked as though Lord Finesse was Mac Miller’s enemy and Donald Trump was his friend. Looks can be deceiving, however, as these roles have reversed in only a short number of days. Recently, Mac Miller and Lord Finesse settled their $10 million lawsuit and are on good terms, now Donald Trump is threatening legal action.

Well documented, it has been, the growth of Mac Miller after sampling Lord Finesse’s classic track, “Hip 2 Da Game.” Later, Mac Miller established himself in the mainstream with his single, “Donald Trump.” Named after the real estate mogul, Mac Miller earned his respect and a co-sign, but now Trump wants a royalty, instead of a plaque.

Donald Trump called Mac Miller many disrespectful names on Twitter and threatened a lawsuit if he did not give him a portion of his profit off “Donald Trump.” There have been a few people who have tried to get to Mac Miller, he plays it off. With Donald Trump making digs, the young rapper has taken it all in stride with his Twitter response.
