Before there was a Jay-Z and Nas, there was Big Daddy Kane and Rakim. Ironically, both have individually been hailed as the second comings of Big Daddy Kane and Rakim. This irony stems from the epic feud between Jay-Z and Nas. Once, Big Daddy Kane and Rakim also got into a high-profile feud.
Both Jay-Z and Nas have gone over and beyond expectations with both their music and their business savvy. Still, though, the older generation watches over the youngsters, which Jay-Z still is in the eyes of Big Daddy Kane. However, Jay-Z is rapidly becoming “old school” in this new age of French Montana and A$AP Rocky.
FUSE TV talked to Big Daddy Kane about his impact on the new generation. Big Daddy Kane still has a major following with some of the younger generation. Jay-Z also was discussed during the interview, along with his relationship with President Obama. The Obama talk also led to Big Daddy Kane discussing politics.
