Over a decade after The Clipse emerged, the DMV area is suddenly filled with rising hip hop talent. At the top of this game is Pusha T, who signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music during the summer of 2010. Many felt Pusha T would release his debut album soon after the release of Kanye West’s album.
Instead, Pusha T released his Fear of God mixtape and the Fear of God II EP. Those projects generated steam. Pusha T officially established himself as a solo star when he released his hit single, “Trouble On My Mind,” with Tyler, the Creator. After building up much momentum in 2011, Pusha T was relegated to a background role in 2012.
Pusha T is preparing to release his Wrath of Caine mixtape before he finally releases his debut album, My Name is My Name. Miss Info recently spoke to Pusha T about his upcoming mixtape. During the second part of the interview, Pusha T previewed two tracks off his mixtape featuring songs with French Montana and Wale.
